When a subject is illuminated with many different types of light sources, the existing white balance controls may not be able to reproduce color accurately. In this type of situation, use the custom white balance function. Set what aspects of the scene to view as white and calibrate the amount of correction required under the light source to reproduce the color correctly. The A700 can memorize three custom white balance settings.
The custom WB data registered on the LCD monitor displays the image with the specific color temperature and CC filter value.
These values for the color temperature setting can also be used for complete control.
(The custom WB data cannot be fine-tuned, but by using those values in the color temperature settings, the picture can easily be fine-tuned)
