- Noise may increase on the recorded image of a long exposure time.
- When noise reduction is turned on, noise reduction processing is performed on images of at least one second exposure duration. The processing is performed after the shutter closes and takes the same amount of time as the exposure. During this time, another picture cannot be shot. ("Processing..." appears on the LCD monitor).
However, when shooting an image with a long exposure duration, if there is insufficient battery power after the exposure, noise reduction will not be performed. (The picture will be saved without performing noise reduction)
